Evidence quality ladder
- Claim: a team member says the control exists.
- Document: a current record names scope and owner.
- Exercise: a sample shows the workflow being used.
- Exception record: failures and remediation remain visible.
- Independent sample: a qualified reviewer checks method and evidence.
Local helper boundaries
The notice-text helper looks for plain-language cues. The CSV helper parses up to 200 rows, 20 columns and 250,000 characters and treats formula-like values as text. Files are read in the browser and never uploaded. Neither helper checks truth, completeness, legal sufficiency or control effectiveness.
